U Scream!
We all scream for
Ice Cream!
Oh, Yes, it is that time again. Time where we
break out the ice cream maker for some
good ole' fashioned sweet creamy goodness.
This year we made homemade Strawberry and
Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. Oh
and boy was it YUMMY!!
This year we used a cooked vanilla ice cream
reicipe. It made a nicer thicker ice cream.
for the Strawberry ice cream we just put in
mashed strawberries the last 5 minutes of
mixing in the mixer. For the cookie dough
ice cream, we took some store bought cookie
dough and cut it into tiny chunks and then
froze them in the freezer for awhile. Then
again during the last couple minutes of the ice
mixing, we poured in the cookie dough, just
long enough so it would be even throughout
the ice cream. Oh it worked out perfectly!!

What little cuties! That ice cream looks so yummy. It makes me want to jump in the car and go on a run for my favorite choc. chip cookie dough ice cream. Sadly, the store is far, far, away and will be closed before I could get there. Sniff. Maybe I'll have to invest in an ice cream maker.
