Brenda and the kids Brenda and I and some of her relatives.
The whole group we were with. I told you
it was a lot of people.

The Ship

On the ship they take pictures of you. Getting on

the ship getting off the ship, eating dinner, and then

around the ship there are places to get you pictures

taken. It is actually quite fun. Here are just a couple

of the ones taken of us.

Victoria, Canada

Parlament
The Empress Hotel
Queen Victoria
Parlament at night.
This was our last stop of the trip. And it was a quickie too.
We were only in port for about 6 hours. But since I had never
been to Victoria before, Marci took me out and walked
around town. We were also on a mission for Mr.Big bars.
They are a candy bar found only in Canada. Brenda and her
sister Teri gave us money and told us not to come back until
we had some. Luckily we hit the local 7-11 and found a ton.
We bought 14 for the girls. Hope that was enough!! :)

Ketchican, Alaska

Brenda and I on our bike trip
The town
Brenda all geared up.
Waterfalls flowing into the ocean.

River flowing into the ocean.

Brenda and I decided to go on a bike ride excursion
here in Ketchican. The problem was the we swear
that is was up hill both ways. They said it would be rolling
hills, but I don't believe them. The bike ride almost killed
us, but we did manage to survive and enjoy ourselves.
It had pretty scenery and we were able to go into a
rain forest and walk down to the ocean.

Tracy Arm Fjord
Inland Passage

A Bigger Iceburg

This was one of my favorite days. We
stayed all day at sea. And we woke up
to these beautiful views from our balcony.
After we got dressed and ate. Brenda and I
went up on deck and got a beautiful view
of the glacier. It was very cold. But we were
dressed warm and had hot chocolate to warm
our insides. On the ship they had classical music
playing while a man with a sultry sexy voice spoke to
us about the area and the iceburgs, and the glacier.

Skagway, Alaska

A replica of an old bar from the settlement days.
In Skagway we just walked around town and visited
shops. Yes grandma I went to the Christmas stores!!
I also bought myself a fake fur shearling jacket while
I was here. Ofcourse I won't be able to wear it for
awhile. But that is OK. While in Skagway Brenda and I
took the kids on a tram ride. We got to see a wonderful
view of the town.

juneau, alaska
Gold Creek Falls
An old Gold Mine
Gold Pans.
Coming into Juneau a look from our balcony.
Salmon bake at Gold Creek. Yummy food.

Brenda and her kids.
Marci and I
Larry and the kids panning for gold.
As you can see we had a fun time at our first stop in
Juneau. It was a cloudy day but not too cold. The food
at the salmon bake was yummy. There was also a folk singer
singing songs from Alaska. And there was this cute Alaskan
Malmute dog as well. Then after eating we took a little walk to
the Gold Creek falls. Along the way in the creek you could
see the salmon swimming up stream. We had a great view
from our room on the ship.

I am back from my cruise and have a million pictures.
Since I can't put on a million pictures at once, I will
just do it a location at a time. These are pictures
that I took from our balcony on the ship of Seattle.

Nick came to pick up Liz for school that morning
so I took a picture of him too. As a tradition we always
go out for ice cream after school. This day we went to
Baskin and Robins. It was sure yummy!!!!

Here are some pictures of the trip that the family
took to Spokane. Yes I was naughty and didn't take
very many. And I was even more naughty, because
we spent the day in Utah with the cousins and did
not take any pictures there. Luckily Candi did.
