Rosie Posy
That is our name for our stinky dog. When I can't
find her I usually look under my bed. What she
doesn't realize is one day she is going to get stuck
under there and not be able to get out. And I probably
won't be so sympathetic either!!!

Sewing Night with Liz!
Now that Sam is 12 and going to YM every Wednesday
night. And Jake has been in the YM for over a year and
a half or more. Liz and I seem to be by ourselves on
Wednesday nights. So we decided to have a craft night!!
First we decided to finish some unfinished projects. The first picture
is of her very first quilt. She started this in her sewing classes
last year. Then she made herself a new school bag. Our next
project is a stuffed kitty. And with 3 babies coming on the
Briscoe side I am sure we will be sewing some more quilts!!

Brace Face
Soon after we got home from Spokane
Sam went to the orthodontist.
He was so excited to get his braces on.
He was really excited to have them on that
first day, until the evening came and his mouth
was very sore!!!! He decided that maybe they
weren't as cool as he was led to believe!!!

Here are some of my favorite pictures of our
trip in Spokane. I didn't know how to separate
them all out. So I just posted them all together.
I am so glad we went to Spokane this year for
Christmas and New Years! And I think the kids
had fun too.

The one thing my kids were looking forward to is
playing in the snow. The good thing was there
was snow on the first day and the last day. Not too
much snow by anyone's standards. But enough to make
a tiny snow man. And lots of snowballs. The snow was
gone though by morning. And the only reason for
playing in snow is to drink hot chocolate when you come
inside. Drinking hot chocolate in the mornings when
it in the 60's or 70's is just not the same!!!!!

Fun with Mitchell & Mallory
On our first day back in Spokane we got to spend
time with the youngest of my cousins, Mitchell
and Mallory. They live in Poulsbo and were in
Spokane visiting GG for Christmas. We don't get
to see them all that much so I was glad to get to
visit with them for awhile. And the kids love them
and they were happy they were there. I thought I
had taken pictures of Uncle Mike and Aunt Debi too,
but I guess I didn't. But we want them to know we
love them just as much too!!!!

Christmas Morning!!!
Here are pictures of the kids on Christmas morning.
As you see Rosie is sad that Santa did not bring her
anything. After presents, and a yummy breakfast
we got dressed and saw a movie. Yes, we got to see
my favorite movie!!!! ROCKY BALBOA
It was worth it too. A very good movie. But I am a Rocky fan!
Later that day, the kids and I caught a plane and
headed up to Spokane Washington for 2 weeks.

Christmas PJ's

We can't have christmas without

PJ's. They weren't homemade

but hopefully they were just as

snuggly.

Christmas Eve !
As you can see we had a great time on Christmas Eve!!!
We spent the evening with our good friends the Leavitt family.
Debi and I made homemade ravioli and we had lots and lots of
good food. At the end of the evening the kids put on their
version of "the first Christmas" with several moments of
comedy relief. I hope we aren't getting points docked off in heaven
for being too sacreligious. I am hoping the kids got a little bit of
the point across.
